OUR HISTORY
We are respected as a progressive and client-driven boutique design firm. We were founded in 2001 by University of Texas School of Architecture graduate Jeffrey Abel, who as Principal is an active member of our team. We began as a company specializing in tenant improvement design and have since expanded to a full-service architectural firm with expertise including master planning, architecture, interior architecture, and consulting.
OUR TEAM
As a boutique design firm, we offer many advantages not available in larger firms, including extensive principal and senior level manager involvement. Our designers work together and learn from each other’s experience in architecture, space planning, interior design, furniture coordination, project consultation, and construction administration. Our combined experience helps us offer clients a high quality product that exceeds their expectations while staying within budget.
Our team members are professional and proactive. Their knowledge and experience allows them to offer clients innovative and economical ideas that are tailored to meet individual needs.We work efficiently and effectively while maintaining a personal connection with its clients.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We were founded with the goal of being one of the best design firms in Houston, not one of the biggest. Our company has a strong history of meeting deadlines and budgets, as well as providing a finished product that the client will utilize and enjoy for many years. We guide clients to help them with decisions that will affect them initially and throughout the life of their project. We listen to our clients and work closely with them while coordinating the consulting team and the general contractor. Our ultimate goal is to give our clients a space that meets their needs and exceeds their vision.
Our design approach is client focused. Our team members interview key individuals to determine programming, functional, and aesthetic requirements. Our goal is to design a project that reflects the client’s business approach, the overall culture, and addresses the image that the client would like the outside world to see. We design to its clients’ needs, not the designers’ desires.
We pride ourselves on our ability to satisfy a wide range of clients. We have extensive experience in building standard design, where efficiency and cost effectiveness are critical, in addition to experience in high-end design for clients who are interested in custom solutions. We work to create a work environment of the highest quality that meets all of the client’s design and economic parameters, regardless of the client’s budget.
